A 2D hand drawn animated film for 2018.Synopsis: After embarrassing herself in front of her crush during a date at the carnival fair, the young mouse Rosemary goes on a self-seeking adventure to find her courage.
A sweet little story about learning one's destiny, and struggling with self confidence.
In addition to contributing to the compositing team and aiding in background/ layout efforts- below are my rough & clean-up animations created for the film, and an example of one of my work-in-progress storyboard sequences:
Pandamonium Publishing House Projects
Short promotional 2D hand drawn animations based on two different children's storybooks 'Panda the Very Bad Cat' and 'Deer Diary,' written by Author Lacey L. Bakker with original illustrations by Jason Bugahiar and Shamayal Hayat respectively. Created for Pandamonium Publishing House.
Some of the character design and development work for these shorts can be seen here.
A small collection of short animations~
Additional rough 2D animation and old school work projects can be found here!
2D Rigging
Characters that were designed by me and rigged from scratch in Toon Boom Harmony.
Doran the Dragon
My first project was a small purple cartoon dragon named Doran! He's a goofy rascal.
Here's a few practice animations that were created with the final rig:
Monsters Cinth & Larks
My second project was two monstery girls, rigged with more dynamic and cartoony animation in mind!
A bouncy walk cycle of the two of them- a little test to show off their personalities!
Rough 2D Hand Drawn Animation
Just a few rough 2D hand drawn animations that are unpolished or unfinished, but are still decent examples of my lip sync and timing work.

Stop Motion, Sculpting & Crafts
Stop Motion Animation
SWAP!
Directed, produced and animated at Sheridan College Bachelor of Animation by Elliot Maxted with music scored by Benjamin Gabbay, a stop motion graduating film for 2019.
Participant at Willson Oakville, Routes to Roots and Rainbow Visions film festivals.Synopsis: A headless robot named Servo tries to discover who they want to be by trying on different objects for heads.
SWAP! is a film about self-exploration, accepting an unpleasant past, and building self-acceptance for oneself, even if it means being a whole mess of many things at once.
To achieve the specific look I wanted for this film, I sculpted, crafted and painted a ton of different small items to clutter up the perfect environment for a lonely robot.
Set Making
A Little Taste of Italy
A set design of a miniature gelato shop based off the streets of Florence and the caffés around where I briefly lived in 2017!
An amalgamation of Italian archecture and artistic styles I loved.
Pigeons are a common sight in Italy, but even they need to take a break for their espresso sometimes too...
Sculpture & Crafts
A shadowbox project from 2016- Camden the camera-head overlooks a city.
I created the illusion of depth by piling up layers of gouche paintings!
Illustration & Layout
Illustrations & Drawings
A collection of digital and traditional artwork from a variety of projects for different people.
Find many more art pieces at the social media links on my contact page!
Often experimenting with artistic mediums, I am comfortable with using different digital programs like Photoshop and Krita as well as a variety of traditional materials like acrylic and gouache paints or markers and pens to make art!
Layout & Environment
Character Design
Work that showcases character design and style development for a variety of my own personal and professional projects.
Pandamonium Publishing House Characters
In order to be able to animate the characters for their promotional animations (as seen here), I had to adapt the original charming styles from these books!Drawn for two different children's storybooks, 'Panda the Very Bad Cat' and 'Deer Diary' written by Author Lacey L. Bakker with original illustrations by Jason Bugahiar and Shamayal Hayat respectively. Created for Pandamonium Publishing House.
Personal Projects
A few projects or types of artwork that I've worked on in my spare time.
Pixel Art & Animation
Though I'm still studying and practicing the pixel art style, I adore all that can be expressed with just a few squares blocks!
The Great Massalía Leech Hunt
The game is still a work-in-progress, but I am working with others to learn and program parts of it myself in Unity.
Several different maps have been crafted for the game, with the help of community assets from opengameart.org and the program Tiled.
Journaling
Italy Memoirs
Some of the sketchy pages & memories from the journal I kept when I briefly lived in Italy in 2017.
3D Modelling
Briefly practicing 3D modelling, UV mapping, texturing and some animation with Autodesk Maya, I have also started learning 3D in Blender.
This turnaround of a purple dragon was modeled in Maya.
